I Miss You 182 has been proclaimed as Blink 182's most popular song since the release of 182 the small things. "I Miss You" expresses the more serious side to 182 and gives their fans a little more insight into what the band is capable of. Personally, I believe that Mark Hoppus's lyrical skills are little more advanced than Delonge's in Blink 182. You might now pick that up in "I Miss You," but usually Hoppus's lyrics tend to form very vivid pictures, based around a strong subject, whereas Delonge's sorta jump around.

Take a look at Blink 182's lyrics here for "I Miss You" and you'll notice how Mark Hoppus's extremely strong reference to The Nightmare Before Christmas is very vivid, in contrast to Tom Delonge's verse.
